On Trend, The Straw Hat ~

The big fashion trend this season is to have a Straw Fedora hat . However I love all hats in general, which I like to wear all year long... So I'll be wearing floppy brim hats, sun straw hats, bowler hats and the fedora . Where I live it's always on the sticky, hot side - so hats, help me to feel stylish and pulled together even on the most delightful "not" days. I found some styles that I love, that will inspire me and hopefully you this season, enjoy!

I just found these pictures of screen goddess Greta Garbo. I just love her regal face. What a beauty! I also love her films. If you are not familar with her movies you should really check them out. Her ease and  intensity and glow - With her thick huskey voice and intelligence, glamour. The Divine Ms. Garbo -Movie Icon.

A Must Have This Spring And Summer - A Colorful, Scarf

I've been collecting scarves ever since I was a teenager. I think they are truly a piece of art you can wear. From fun , funky prints and textures to soft, vintage finds. Scarves come in so many beautiful shades,  styles and prices. Also you can wear them so many different ways! It really adds a little something special to an outfit and can brighten up your face and add interest to say an old pair of jeans. What a perfect accessory!

Jazz Babies ~ The 1920's Flapper

If I could go back in time it would be to The 1920's. The style , music, dancing (The Charleston) and the art deco style. The last couple of years have been a huge comeback of the inspired  modern  flapper, from the pages of magazines to fashion runways. It's so delightful! A little razzle dazzle girls?!. I think of the Great Gatsby girls. Beautiful makeup (ruby bow lips)  sleek short hair,  pin curls, elegance and sweetness. Looking back at the past and a modern twist on a divine classic.
