Beautiful, Brown- Eyed Girl ~ Natalie Wood

Born - On July 20th 1938 - November 29th 1981

Natalie Wood  started acting as a child ( four years old) her most well known early film's  were Miracle on 34th street ( 1947) and of course Rebel Without A Cause (1955) which earned her a Best Supporting Actor nomination at The Academy Awards and helped her to transtion from child performer to a lead actress. Some of my favorite movies of hers were the wonderful musicials she starred in West Side Story (1961) and Gypsy (1962). Splendor In The Grass (1961) and Love With A Proper Stranger (1963) both movies she recieved a Academy Award nomination for. She would go on to make a televison production of a remake of the film From Here To Eternity (1979) which she won a Golden Globe Award. She and her husband, actor Robert Wagner enjoyed a family and time together until her death in 1981 of a tragic drowning accident.

I think she is one of the very best actresses. With her beautiful face, great sense of style. And her sweet nature.  I love to watch her movies, she was amazing!
